Internship Full Stack Software Developer for Humanoid Robotics

Avatarion Technology is an innovative Swiss startup founded in 2015, specialized in creating robotic applications and solutions through different devices and accessories. We are experts in humanoid  robotics, being the official Swiss partner of Softbank Robotics, and mobile app development. Avatarion is very well known for its initiative Avatar Kids and is working on a number of new and exciting projects for national and international clients.

Your responsibilities: New and further development of robotic applications (Nao and Pepper), mobile and web apps being involved as well in the frontend as in the backend development. Commitment to the entire product creation: design, implementation, testing and maintenance Traveling to events with our robots and performing shows Providing support for our clients remotely or on-site

Your qualifications and skills: Degree in Informatics or Robotics (or on-going) Expertise in Android development Extensive programming skills in: C++/C#, Java or Python Good experience in Web development: HTML, CSS, Javascript, JSP Full Stack Developer: Practical knowledge of frontend and backend development Experience with versioning tools (git) and process management tools (JIRA) Experience working with Unix/Linux systems Team-oriented personality with high flexibility and openness to varied challenges Great eagerness to learn about new technologies Due to our 2 working environments in Zürich and Yverdon: Very good knowledge of spoken and written English and German is a must, French would be a plus We offer: Unique opportunity in the field of humanoid robotics Flexible working times from 50% to 100% for at least 6 months 2 work locations: Zürich Technopark and Yverdon-Les-Bains VD Working on high tech and state-of-the-art products: Nao and Pepper robots, mobile devices, M2M technology, Cloud services.
